Trout Release
June 25 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Our school of trout is ready to be released! Join us as we learn about our woodland and stream ecosystems. Participating in this event means you’ll have a chance to directly release one of our baby trout into a stream near our library.
Please meet at the library no later than 10:15am on the day of the event. We will ride River Valley Transit buses over to the stream together at 10:30am, where each participant will release a fish, use kick nets to find creek critters, learn about animal calls, and more. Please wear proper clothing and shoes; you’ll have the option to get into the creek! This event is designed for children ages 5 and up. Buses will leave the creek in time to get back to the library by 12:30pm.
Registration is required below. Please include both children and adults in the “Number of Participants” total.
