SUMMARY:Youth Theatre Week (students going into grades 3-7)
DESCRIPTION:Interested in theatre? Join us this summer for our first ever Youth Theatre Week! This is a fun\, interactive event for kids going into grades 3-7. \nLearn the basics of acting with voice lessons\, games and much more! Students will learn about acting while they practice a play with the help of volunteers from the Hughesville High School Theatre Club. \nFrom Monday\, July 20 to Saturday\, July 25\, kids will be practicing and working through the play from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. On Saturday\, the 25th\, at 10:00 am there will be a performance for family and friends! \nKids are encouraged to bring a packed lunch.\nRegistration is Required. Registration open 2 weeks prior to the event. \n

DESCRIPTION:This program is filled with music\, movement\, and book-sharing for babies and children up to 4 years old and their caregivers. It represents one of the many ways Pennsylvania Public Libraries support the PA Forward Initiative by providing civic\, social\, and basic literacy opportunities for learning.\nChildren outside of this age range are welcome to stay with a caregiver in the children’s play area. \nToday’s program will be held in the main library. \n  \n* NOTE: Please be advised that photographs may be taken at this event/program for use on the Hughesville Area Public Library website and in the press\, HAPL marketing materials\, and other library publications. By registering for or attending this event\, you consent to the library photographing and using your image and likeness. No names will be used. If you do not want your photograph taken\, you may still register or attend the event\, but please let the staff person in charge know. * \n  \nRegistration is required below.
