SUMMARY:The Amazing Mr. Franklin!
DESCRIPTION:Benjamin Franklin was the original super-genius superhero and he’s back for the reboot: The Amazing Mr. Franklin! In honor of America’s 250th birthday\, Theatre in the Classroom is reviving this fan favorite play for its Spring 2026 tour. Not only will kids learn about Benjamin Franklin’s life and inventions\, but they will also learn to ask\, “What good shall I do this day?” \n  \nTheatre in the Classroom is an initiative of the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. At this performance\, you can expect professional actors to use props and costumes to create vivid\, engaging\, and educational scenes. This experience will include call-and-response opportunities from audience members\, and HAPL will provide additional print and online resources before and after the program for extra learning at home. This program is one of many ways Pennsylvania Public Libraries supports the PA Forward Initiative by providing civic\, social\, and basic literacy opportunities. \n  \nThis program is open to K-12th-grade children and their caregivers. The performance will last approximately one hour. Registration is required below. \n  \n*NOTE: Please be advised that photographs may be taken at this event/program for use on the Hughesville Area Public Library website and in the press\, marketing materials\, and other library publications.
