SUMMARY:HAPL Preschool Hour
DESCRIPTION:Preschool Hour is a beautiful tradition that builds literacy and nurtures children’s social skills. It is for children 3–5 years old and their caregivers.\n \n\nOlder or younger siblings that do not meet the age requirements for this event are welcome to participate in other activities in the main library area during preschool time.\n \n\nEach week has a different theme\, but the activities will not change between Monday and Tuesday; therefore\, please only sign up for one Preschool Hour event per week. However\, you are welcome to sign up for Preschool Hour + Wee Make Music in the same week if your child meets the age requirements for each event.\n \n\nThis week’s theme is: Every Day is Earth Day \n  \nSharing books and reading together is the best way to raise a reader. This program is one of the many ways Pennsylvania Public Libraries supports the PA Forward Initiative by providing civic\, social\, and basic literacy opportunities for learning.\n \n\n*NOTE: Please be advised that photographs may be taken at this event/program for use on the Hughesville Area Public Library website and in the press\, marketing materials\, and other library publications. By registering for or attending this event\, you consent to the library photographing and using your image and likeness. No names will be used. If you do not want your photograph taken\, you may still register or attend the event\, but please let the staff person in charge know.* \n
